It's really hard when you've spent so much time circling around a topic to notice the corruption on the edges. It takes time to realize that people like Phillip Atiba Goff are truly mislead the public. I use his data, which comes from the Center for Policing Equity. He contextualizes for arrests. Yet how it results in a legacy of "systemic racism I fail to see."
If we could see force used in 6% of black arrests and 3% of white arrests, I'd be singing a different tune.
